Affirmations for 2013
I love God.
(John 14:21) "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him."
I trust and obey God.
(Hebrews 11:6) And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
I hate sin.
(Psalms 119:127-128) Therefore I love Your commandments Above gold, yes, above fine gold. (128) Therefore I esteem right all Your precepts concerning everything, I hate every false way.
I read God's word every day.
(Psalms 1:1-2) How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! (2) But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.
I pray every day.
(1 Thessalonians 5:17) pray without ceasing;
I walk in the Spirit.
(Galatians 5:22-23) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, (23) gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
I attend all services of the church.
(Hebrews 10:24-25) and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, (25) not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
I give.
(Proverbs 21:13) He who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor Will also cry himself and not be answered.
I encourage.
(Hebrews 3:13) But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
