Series: Peace of God (POG) 2021 Theme

Our 2021 theme is the Peace of God. The phrase is taken from Philippians 4:7. This is the third lesson in the series, but the first one I have been able to record. This is a short lesson; about 15 minutes. We consider the valiant servant of King David named Joab. We read that Joab rejected the peace that King David had negotiated, and avenged his brother. Our application is that we, also, can reject the peace that our King, Jesus, has provided for us. What a shame to reject the King's peace. Won't you embrace both the king and his peace?
